Bowland Surveyors is an independent chartered surveying practice specialising in the inspection and assessment of listed and historic buildings.

 

The practice is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and provides advice to purchasers, owners and other related professionals throughout Lancashire, Cumbria and the Northwest of England.​​​​​

​​We provide specialist advice on the conservation and alteration of listed and historic buildings, from preparing historic building record reports to discharge planning and listed building consent conditions, through to managing listed building consent applications for renovation works and alterations.

 

We also undertake pre-purchase condition surveys of listed buildings, including detailed appraisal regarding the lawfulness of historic alterations, and prepare heritage appraisals and heritage impact assessments to inform and support proposals affecting designated heritage assets.
